City of Beaumont Liaison

Tricia LaLonde

Chamber Plan Liaison

As the owner and lead advisor at Brightview Financial, I believe in empowerment through education. I work one on one with clients to build customized financial plans and family protection. Plans that they understand and that bring them peace of mind. The biggest compliment I hear is, I feel so much better now. I grew up in a small fishing village in northern Newfoundland. My mother worked hard to succeed and get ahead in life. Her dedication and work ethic was passed to my sister and I. She did not want me to become a nurse like her, but I was intrigued by health and health care. My interest in health with my passion for business and finance combined to form Brightview Financial. My entrepreneurial spirit started young, I used to run charity fundraisers from our front yard and became the youngest Avon lady in my neighbourhood! Success is not only defined by being self sufficient, but also by helping and improving the lives of others. I value every moment my clients choose to share with me. Showing up, listening , being fair and honest is the least I can do in return. I give thanks daily to my friends, family and pups for being so supportive.

Carolyn Thorpe

Director

Ive been proud to call Beaumont home for 25 years. My husband and I raised our two children here, and our family now includes a son?in?law as well. Over the years, I worked both at the Sobeys store in town and later in the companys Edmonton office, gaining experience in everything from day?to?day operations to the corporate side of the business. In 2019, I decided it was time to invest fully in the community that had supported my family for so long. That decision led me to take on independent ownership of Jefs Cafe. Six years later, Im grateful for the chance to run a truly local business one that has weathered tough times, leaned on the strength of this community. Beaumont has given my family so much, and it means a lot to be able to give something back by keeping a neighbourhood caf thriving. Im proud to serve as a Chamber Board member and eager to collaborate with a team committed to strengthening our community, as a whole.
